    Default CSF or APF Firewall

Alright so CSF & APF are pretty popular firewalls for linux around the hosting industry but which do you prefer your self ive been messing around with both have always preferred csf because of a GUI, but APF seems to work pretty nice as well.

Please vote and state which you have chosen and the reason.

    CSF/LFD + Mod_Security = best combo.

Never tried APF, probably never will. lol.

Also ya you're right the GUI is nice & simple.

Both of them are good but I prefer CSF over APF. CSF is more advanced and configurable.

GUI doesn't make a difference as I prefer doing everything via SSH.
KnownSRV.com - Quality comes at a price, and we provide it at affordable prices.

CSF : Easily configurable, easy to manage, can do loads of stuff without going to ssh coding.

    its cool

CSF for cPanel/WHM server and APF for LAMP configuration

In addition to CSF, http://ConfigServer.com offers several extremely useful addons for WHM in addition to CSF...

We have started using the standalone version of CSF on most of our CentOS/cPanel boxes lately and love what we have seen so far.

Remember, APF and CSF both aren't firewalls, they are just the utilities to control iptables, the actual firewall.
