you can easily play with numbers...... its not a big deal.
For example u can easily count 11 fingers in your hands if count them in reverse order upto 6 in one hand and adding remaining 5 fingers to it.

on topic:

Eq. (5) may be written even more clearly by the use of brackets:
(6) 3 ( a - b - c ) = 2 ( a - b - c )
Now it is very easy to see, that indeed
3 = 2

in above equation a - b - c = 0

and you cannot cancel it out from both sides.

Putting 2 into 1 should be:

==> 3 (b + c) - 2 (b + c) = b + c
==> 3 - 2 = 1

Simple math? :/
