The PS3 Hacked?

Ace when you run it allows your ps3 to play games burned to disc or back uped from a hard drive. This also includes the backup software and they claimed that each game takes on average 10 minutes to backup (not bad). I heard it was $170 and am gonna get it. I mean 3 games and it is paid for. Also rumour has it that there is a better disc version coming out, meaning it will not get patched.

Some warnings:

1. This dongle only functions on a PS3 that has firmware version 3.41 , the possibility of Sony releasing a firmware update and blocking this device should be taken into account. Do not purchase this item if you want to update your system firmware in the future!
2. Online gaming and the Playstation store will most likely be blocked by Sony. Do not purchase this item if you want to play online or use the Playstation store.
3. ConsolePro cannot guarantee the function of this device on PS3 consoles with system firmware version above 3.41.

In short, you're pretty much fucked if they update or you want to play online.

PS3 had downtime yesterday, probably prepairing a new firmware.

More info, Sony can detect and ban/block the USB version. Hawk wait for the disc version
