Is there a way to buy a remote (hardware) and code its button according to my wish.

I need all details, from where to buy, how to code, etc.

Yes, I have one. Bought it here in Bangkok. It's from a Chinese manufacturer.

You can program keys to Window tasks (shutdown) or control / launch apps like WinDVD etc.

The price was about 15 dollars or so. I used it to control my media center. But as I have WD HDTV, I don't use it anymore ...

How to code that ? Does it have a chip or something which we can use with USB. And it might be having a bluetooth like thing so that the remote works. Isn't it ?

Which language is used to code it ? Is it available online ?

There is a receiver which goes into your USB and you code the remote with codes (shift +, CTRL Plus) plus it has predefined app buttons.
