I have this actually coded, and I am still working on it, however wanted to get some feed back so far. The banner and the forum icons are just temp solution. Not looking for "Make a better banner" more on the total design.

In my opinion it looks a lot simple (like a default skin) Compared to the current one.
I love the Current one...

It's a pretty simple skin, which is what I think you what you were going for. That being said, it does look like a default skin but you put your own twist on it, which looks good.
