ps3 groove came out and is being ported to work on many devices so you don't have to buy the special board and flash it.

Also like to note that Sony started to ban people (will not started more like a massive ban). Plus the way it runs it can and probably will be patched in the very near future. If you don't care about online, buy a ps3 and get the latest updates and then dont go online or update it anymore and you should be good.
