Is there a fast way to learn server management (VPS) ?

i want to move my forum to vps as fast as possible...
but i don't know anyhting about unmanaged VPS
is there a way (book or website , ...) that can let me learn the management of VPS for beginner?
i want to order from linode : (unmanaged vps)

Hire a tutor and he will teach you things on your own vps

This site: http://www.howtoforge.com has many nice Linux tutorials and you can also consider learning Linux basics first as that will definitely help you on your way ahead.

learning on a production environment is not advised...so first install linux on you desktop and start exploring
