I only really know blackhat methods that can be used.

Have you tried twitter, you could create an account then join a twitter train. These allow you to get thousands of followers within a 24 hour period. From then you can build upon your followers. Twitter can be great for advertising if you have the right techniques.

I have tried and used this method, and within 24 hours I had around 550 followers. Twitter didn't say anything about this. I will be posting soon in another topic about how corrupt Twitters GM's are. I'm not sure on reliability but they seem to be associating with Black Hat activity.

A twitter train is essentially a website that can get you followers, I'm not sure on how it works. You just need to watch out because there are twitter train phishers just starting to be marketed.

if i recall correctly there is software that automatically will follow users, and later after will delete those who don't follow you in return, building your twitter account quickly and efficiently
