RapidSpeeds.com - 100Mbps/1Gbps Unmetered Dedicated Servers, From ?95 (NL & US)

I just bought USA dedicated, first impression is not very good (speaking about upload speeds):
- Fileserve upload between 200-300 Kb/s (same for all similar hostings like uploadstation, userporn, videoBB,...).
- Wupload about 1Mb/s using ftp (using fileuploader or web speed is lower).
- Bitshare and uploaded.to speeds are good.
- Filesonic speed using FileUpload is extremely fast.

I bougth USA with the hope of get nice upload speeds but seems that i waste a little my money , not sure if is a fileserve side problem...

Anyway the support is good, as soon i run more test i return more info.

I believe you will get better upload speeds on their NL servers

Nah, i tested chrome, in USA server fileserve upload speeds are bad, very bad, 5 mins to upload 100Mb file.

Tested using ftp, and is poor too, 100 Kb/s :/

You can be sure that if i know it before i not bougth USA server and i buy NL instead...

ask them to move you to the plan and server you want. if the price is less,they will add it back(not the whole,it`d depend on the days you have used etc.),if it is more,you will have to pay it.

zeocat: People seems to be very happy with the USA Servers so far. It may just be your server. Could you run a few traceroutes and open a ticket about it please?

I already have a ticket open in which i provide all screenshoots about speeds and traceroute. Now waiting... because seems that the best choice is wait and try to move to NL ...
