how can i make it use less then 230mb ram it showed that once i installed it on xen 256mb ram vps

must be a way to lower it or could i turn off kloxo and still use website or does it not work like that

only hosting a php script which dont need sql but dont know how to use without kloxo

Kloxo requires mysql server and it alone uses about 200~250 MB of ram, so, no you cannot optimize it.

Use Webmin as others said. Either that, or go here for better VPS deals:

Hi. Im also using some kloxo installs and they all runs with approx 30 MB of ram usage when tweaked. And that install runs it all.

Write me a pm and I'll show you how to tweak your kloxo panel to use 30 MB of ram.
And thats with lighttpd, ftp, mail, dns, ssh, php, mysql, phpmyadmin and so on ..

change to djbdns from named (bind) . It will surely free up atleast 50 MB RAM

you can also switch to lighty which will give you another 60-80 MB RAM
