vBulletin 3.8 vs 4.0

I am a vBulletin 3.8 man, but a few friends told me 4.0 is good too. I tried to 4.0, but just trying it told me "NO", I wanted to find out what other people think about it?

Which would you prefer, and why?
What is so much better in 3.8 then 4.0, and vice versa?

And tell me anything else you would like to add.

I prefer 3.8 but it's unsecure I've been told. Vb4 looks horrible but is more secure. I'm still using 3.8 right now, but if I ever get hacked I'll be upgrading .

vBulletin 4.0 have lots of bugs too. :/
I have used 3.8, and I liked it. Just that I am bringing my site back up, and I was wondering which one should I use.

We tried 4.0 awhile back and i was not a fan. I didn't like the look of it and it had quite a few bugs as well. I just wasn't a fan at all. Maybe eventually when they get some bugs worked out and there are better options like skins and mods we'll upgrade but not for awhile.

And why does IPB suck? IPB 3 is total re-write and far better while vB4 isn't in other words it's bad. Troll on other forum, fanboy.

Well it's very sql extensive too. Not worth the $200 in my opinion. If we upgrade to it again it will be awhile. And if we do decide to upgrade chances are we'll move to ipb3 not vbulletin.

But I will add that we tried it before it was released so.. a lot could have changed since then.
