Free GUI Framework for C# desktop apss?

could you tell me a nice and free GUI framework to build C# desktop apps?
I search some on Google, but unfortunately it's not free.

DevExpress is great, i use it myself. However unfortunately, it's not free

yeah it's cool UI Fx. But i have to use the open source, it's the limitation.

well if you need your app to be open source, and you really want a unique UI, then maybe check out WPF

yes, i have been looking to the WPF. i just wondering if any alternative. Since WPF is took to much resources and i have to buy Microsoft Blend/Expression to design it.

why not just stick with standard winforms controls then?
they look pretty good the way they are

i wonder, the .NET 4.0 framework is quite enough to build normal desktop app

@Ambition: i think i will stick to normal windows form then.
@rohansakhale: i'm looking for open source and nice GUI fx in .net. maybe like DevExpress or Telerik.
@Hyperz: i'm lack of design skill. that's why i'm looking for an open source for GUI fx. but that' would be nice idea to develop.
