A buddy of mine told me that you can transfer your domain to another account for free for both parties at namecheap. So i'm wondering if you buy a domain and transfer it to a fake dummy account would you be safe?

I don't think this would work, but im not sure, can someone verify if this method works or not? I'm pretty sure it dosen't work though.

yes this is doable

Alex S.: - login to your account - click on "Manage Domains" - select the domain name you would like to edit - click on "Push Domain To User" on the left hand side You will need to enter your account password for authorization and the destination username the domain will be pushed to. This process is free of charge.
