This is my suggestion I don't know if people would like it or not but if perhaps a thread starter submitted his specifications of his server to the mods to verify and then post it on their threads it would help clients know what they are actually getting on.

How many times do we see a thread that says "1Gbit" when in reality most have 5-10TB with that 1Gbit or is shared amongst other users. Or have 16GB RAM when is DDR2 and not DDR3. You can see the difference once you have the VPS and check.

You know what I don't see often though? The amount of space and what kind of drives they are. Are they cheap desktop drives being used? Or RAID specific drives? Is it HW or SW raid? etc

//Just random thinking. It will be alot of work yes.

Well OldSpice, i agree with what you saying,
You see quantity over here more than quality, because most of the users over here use their vps or dedicated servers for stuff like torrenting or rapidleech etc which dsnt need to have raid 10 or any professional features.
Users over here mostly look for quantity, they really dont care if you are using SATA hard drives or IDE, 5k or 7.2. They dont care about the quality, whoever offers the best and the cheapest deal, they go out with them.

For Example: When we launched out Gbit plans, we offered 2 TB Bandwidth
with each vps, but we didnt get a single order, the moment we made it unmetered, we got filled up.

Also Many of the users over here are Students,so off course they wont
be able to pay for Quality services. But i see some companies around
trying to offer quality with quantity .

Just my 2 cents
