I never used free hosting like that, subdomains and shit. I always had real domains and real hosting, I just hardly ever paid a dime for it.

Well that was warez back in the day. Popups, forced voting (toplists were popular), porn sponsors, and modchip sponsors were popular. Uploads were to places like tripod in 2.88 files. Even for movies. They usually died within hours so everyone worked (even downloadeds) to keep mirrors active. Nobody was paid a thing to upload. Those were the good days.

For the last couple years I've built and sold sites, flipped sites, built them up and sold. I always liked to use a new host to try things out, unless it needed to be rock solid for sure. Who was your fav host? Mine would have to be iwebfusion, 100tb or burst.net. Never had to wait longer the. 2min for support with any of them even at 3am. These are not offshore hosts just so you know. Rating: 5
