How DDL Site Brings traffic ??

Guys I m noob at ur world>> Just curious to know abt How DDL Site Brings so much traffic for ur forum..& How many of u depend only katz or other ddl for traffic?? & Now As I see lot of file hosting company arise day by day like FroG's Umbrella !!! is it good sign for uploader??

First of all ddl sites are advertised on wide scale range. So people visit ddl sites and from ddl sites they visit your site. Thats how it goes.

When a ddl site becomes popular like katz they will stop advertising themselves.

Thats how atomicwarez and ddl0 are now famous.

DDL sites index the pages in you blog or forum, so when someone searches some download in a ddl site, all results from the sites who had submitted that particular download are shown, like this:


(got this by searching "linkin park" in katz.cd, only few are shown in the screenshot)

When you click on any of these results, it takes you to the page of the site that submitted it(within katz frame), and this way katz sends traffic to those sites. Similar with other ddl sites.

About lots of file hosting companies, it has its own pros and cons, good because it increases competition which is always good, bad because some shitty file hosts may pay a lot for uploading and uploaders will get tilted towards it leaving the better file hosts around.
From an uploader's point of view, its not really bad though.

Well a DDL site is where every other site owners submits there good quality contents.
Its like, not every site has every content and various file links, so a DDL is a place where every types of uploads can be found.

Now you take it as google, you search for anything there. Then why don't you particularly search for one site, only because it has more contents and of various types.

Similarly DDLs are also same where warez contents can be searched.

So you see that when you can find all the contents which your searching for then you will visit this DDL site and not just a particular gaming or application or movies site.

Like that others also do the same and these DDLs redirect to those sites who have submitted there content page to them.

Well now if your an uploader, its not that there are so many sites and uploaders you will lag behind. If you upload unique content( not exactly) but if your quality of the product is good then people will download yours.

Suppose there is a new movie released in CAM rip version and after a week you grabbed the first copy of R5 version and upload it and spread it all over, but some other uploaders are still providing CAM ver. so whom do you think will get the maximum hits? Camrip or R5? Uffcourse the R5 or the DVD version.

So it all depends on your quality of contents.

I think of Katz as a big phone book for warez. Or any other DDL for that matter.
