Nice but I don't see the point in doing this. You've just removed all the stuff that makes DLE's so powerful in getting organic traffic. The reason DDL's don't have info on the downloads is because their hosted on another site and it's extremely difficult to get the info.
I don't see the point in removing it when you have it. You could add the topic content text as a title="" attribute so when you hover over the links it will at least still retain some keywords and info relating to link which would be better than what you currently have.
