I have a forum myself and I know how spamming is a problem....but I don&#180;t think they would go any further with a captcha to barr them. Only "serious" people would go to the trouble of typing captchas.

But...judging from so many (friendly) answers in such a minimum time, this forum is pretty busy and full of interesting people.
