    I gained CSS knowledge by downloading free sample templates. While I was editing them to my liking I learned, I think that's one of the fastest ways to learn CSS without reading/watching any tutorials.

    just like people here say, download templates and try to edit the css, and at a moment you will learn it. Actually this is not the best way to learn, but ok.

    believe me, the best way to learn is by doing. The best thing you can do is to get an template and examine the .css file. It will really help you out.

    Why?

    If you remove one tag, such as "background-color: red;" e.g. you will instantly learn what background-color actually does. Why not trying it yourself instead of reading all those tutorials?!

    Okay, some tutorials might be good, such as the site which has been posted in this topic, but learning by doing is always great.
