Designing a simple design for a future project of mine. Please let me know what you think of the direction i am taking, and if you like the colour scheme. Also, please give me any suggestions you think would improve it

Looks smooth, but you need to change the colors of the 3 boxes to:
Green - Blue - Purple

or something.

The create, share and earn don't match the template, they look awkward. Try changing the colours and mess with the lighting and it would look better.

Even the shrink looks bad, it could be replaced for smth better. The font for shrink, create, share and earn needs a change that's for sure.

I like your nav bar, it is professional and the font choice is good as well.

The shrink box could be made a little smaller cause a good font for displaying would be around 12pt so keep the height to bout 20px at max.
