I'll be honest, nothing about it is good, but we all start somewhere, follow some tutorials here, great tuts:

And keep trying if you actually want to be a web designer, if it's just something that's gonna come and go, you might as well not waste your time, learning this stuff takes years, not weeks or months, so good luck.
