it won't work, since they usualy ban entire ip ranges - you'd have to get server from different datacenter.


that plugin works by using loophole in hotfile's system - ip ban only prevents you from getting download link, not downloading itself - it uses unbanned proxy to get the link, then downloads directly from it.

That loophole no longer works. If you check the cookie Hotfile sets, they specify the first 2 digits of the IP that generated that link and only that IP can download it. Else it downloads an html file that redirects you to the original link.

Meaning, if hotfile bans your server, forget downloading from HF.

there was special rapidleech plugin that costed like 2$/month for license - it used proxy to get file location and download it later without proxy.

anybody knows any solution..

since they fixed that loophole, it seems that there's no way to download files with banned ip - using vpn or any proxy to transfer files kinda defeats purpose of having server with banned ip.
