My Wordpress blog got hacked and I have no idea how they did it. All index files had code inserted that loaded an iframe which downloaded and installed malware. Anyone have tips on how to secure a wordpress site?

Wordpress is incredibly secure. I've never heard of anyone hacking wordpress. They must have got your password through a keyloger or your using the same password on multiple sites. Scan your computer or laptop for keylogger.

Change your password and add a htaccess password to your admin login area. Do not use the same login you have for your wordpress admin area as you do for other sites.

If you added too many mods they could have hacked through that or through simple mistakes like leaving the install file open.

Or as mr happy said, it's better to scan your computer.
