Site Genre Suggestions

I am about to start a new forum which will not be a warez forum. So I need suggestions on what genre the forum should be. I want something unique. Computer discussion, automobile discussion etc etc etc forums are there in plenty. I want to start a forum on a unique genre.

Your site has failed before it's even started.

Asking such a broad general question show's your just creating a site for the sake of it. If you expect a site to succeed you need to have a genuine interest in it. If someone tells you to make a site then it will never succeed as you'll never have the same interest in it as if you came up with the idea yourself and had a real passionate interest in its subject matter.

I am just asking for ideas. People will suggest that does not means that I will surely follow it. I am just asking what all Genre are unique so that I have an idea. And its just suggestions. Suggestions are always welcome.

If someone here gives you an IDEA then its not unique. MOST likely you are getting ideas for soemthing that already exists! Just go with something you have an interest on or passion, like lets say a TV SHOW you like. Do it because you like that show and talk about it, im sure you will get people who also like the same show if you have discussions going on

I have great idea in computers. But its very common. I always wanted to a computer related forum.

What are your interests and hobbies? Create a forum based on your interests.

If you like working out and going to the gym.. start a health and fitness forum

if you like music.. start a music discussion forum.. not music warez

if your life sucks and your depressed.. lol start a forum for depressed people. lolz

It all depends on what your interests lie. it's hard for us to suggest something that's suited to you when we don't know you in real life or don't know you well enough to suggest things that really interest you.

although the internet has 1000's of forums on a particular area like Warez or Auto discussions. I think if you are dedicated enough and love the subject enough.. that you can make it unique even if there is already 1000's of the same genre forums out there. The things that make it unique is different scripts/mods/themes. Different vibe that is very important too. Putting different ideas in your forum that the 10000's of the same forums don't have. The thing is Most people just want to start a forum or site but don't put in the time, dedication, Money or work involved to making it successful. Any forum can be successful. You just need to spend some money on marketing, scipts etc and take the time to code different things.
