IE not allowing .GADGET extension

Hi Guyz , I have uploaded a Windows Sidebar Gadget on my server and when even I download it via IE , The extension automatically changes to .ZIP . While if I download the same gadget from http://gallery.live.com . It downloads as .GADGET . PLS help me
