Post Count does not increase in same thread

Hi

This seems to be a strange problem.

In 1 thread when i reply more than once, it will only increment post the Post Count by 1 not more than it no matter how many times i reply in that thread.

But when i reply in another thread, post count increases.





Strange, that thing is also same in other IPB forum, P.C increases only once in 1 thread no matter how much replies you reply.

Any help will be appreciated.!

it happens in lot of IPB forums, maybe 3.1

Tested in 3 of em, same problem

First thread post is 162 than my this post should by 163.!

Doesn't happen on my forum.

Maybe you misconfigured something in the ACP.

In the acp click the tab "Forums"/Edit Settings (for specific section) and then click the tab "Postable Forum Settings". Check this setting:

I think you have to wait for the post count to update.

its already incremented.

Total count of the the full forum gets updated as we post but the user post count doesn't.


It's the same thing in KWWH, see, i replied thrice in this thread, still my post count is 163 in all of my replies.

Ofcourse it will show 163 in all. It shows your post count DUH!
If you post again all your posts will update and show 164.
