Why 400MB parts?

They will, but 400mb beats 200mb parts and single links beats 400mb parts . Personally, I always download from single links instead of parts, sometimes they can be corrupted, some hidden passwords..etc

No, fewer links = more downloads , see it from a free users point of view, would you rather download 2 400mb parts, or 4 200mb parts? I think you get the idea.

if you consider filehost other than hf like fs/so you will get more dls and $$$ then 200 mb parts, believe it even i moved to 400mb parts

Any screener, ts or cam may go up to 1.5GB. As a free user is a pain in the arse to have to dl 7,8,9 or 10 parts.

I can recall the days when 100mb RS links was the standard. Sometimes I got frustrated because links were reported before I could download them all.

more number of download + increase in earning for big files will compensate
