Looking for vps, encoding allowed
Hi all!
I'm looking for a provider, who allows ffmpeg encoding and torrent download!
My specs would be:
at least
50 gb HDD
512 dedicated ram
fast connection, and good cpu
no suspension because of encoding!
Budget 25-36 dollars!
If anyone knows such deals, please pm me or write it here.mahjong Reviewed by mahjong on . Looking for vps, encoding allowed Hi all! Quick Sand:
ffmpeg is not really using memory, it is cpu intensive, and my specs are "at least for the price", i would like to get better specs of course.
Mr.KiLLeR:
Just for ffmpeg? Thats seems a little overkill for me. Sometimes even shared hosting allows ffmpeg: if they can allow it, i expect a vps provider can allow it to. It has to cap the cpu of my slice, thats all.
Scopehost and vps9 were worked really great for me, but vps9 is now scopehost, and scopehost seems going down the hill, and i need a reboot/reinstall panel, which scopehost didn't have (nor fast support). Knowinserver was not able to cap my cpu, their servers are not that strong i guess, or there are too many clients on nodes.
