ibf_topics crashes

Any idea why my ibf_topics always crashes

I always have to repair it to get it working

Else see DB error ... all traffic are going in vain due to this shit

Can anyone help

I am hosted in a VPS

IPB : 3.1.2
PHP Version : 5.2.14
MySQL Version 5.0.67
Driver (MySQL or MySQLi) MySQL


Total ram 2 GB dedicated and 3 GB burst
Xeon server Quad core

[Lock Down]

Look in the cache folder for the error it reports when crashing the DB.

Also check the mysql logs. If you do not have access ask your host to check.

yeah my ipb board has been crashing lately. Turns out it was because of eaccellerator cache (the tmp folder kep filling up) Just check cpanel service status to see if all those folders still have space.

But also, follow what neweracracker said and upgrade your ipb site. It's dangerous to keep everything that old.
