Today i was messing with DLE with XxX and came to know that mostly DLE templates are in russian. So i needed something that can convert Russian to English easily, Well i thought it would be useful to some of you so sharing it here on how to do it easily and quick.

Your computer will recognize Russian language as these characters "Àäìèíöåí& #242;ð". So lets first fix this.

First install notepad++ from here http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

Second open your theme file from theme folder in notepad++, for this demo i am going to open main.tpl

When file is open go to notepad++ menu and select encoding type to windows-1251

Encoding>Character Set>Cyrillic>Windows-1251

Now you will see there Russian language instead of symbols.

Next step is to go to google translate http://translate.google.com/#

Now copy paste your file to google textarea and from menu select Russian to English.
Press Translate

check a bit of html tags and make them proper like Div to div Header to header etc.

Now copy translated content from right and paste to main.tpl (any other file u r using)

Hit Save and your one file is translated, now repeat this step for all of .tpl extension files in your theme folder.

Finally you have a translated version of Datalife Engine template in less then 10 minutes.

Enjoy
