What you do with imagearn is setup an account and it runs like a free image host, but the ad space above and below every single image you upload is your own space. You can put up your own banner or use an advertising company (eg ero-advertising which is one of imagearns suggested ad companies) to make some money. What you do is after you sign up and upload some stuff, sign up to an ad company that allows adult content, and create 2 ad zones and use your user profile as the main site, 1 ad zone for the header and 1 ad zone for the footer
As people click on the ads you will get money, and with most companies it also keeps track of how many times the ad (and your image) is viewed...I did about 1 million views in a week with 3-4k images but only 15 clicks so I made close to nothing since the ads just werent relevant and they didnt stand out.
on the other hand if you have a good amount of content and a large number of image views, try and sell the 2 ad zones on your own to other sites. I mean you dont have exact traffic stats but if you had ads up before that keep track of views then its some proof that can be used to persuade people to buy your ad space. At the moment I have 1 person signed on for both ad zones at $10 for 30 days, of course as I add more and more content if the number of image views I get in a week goes up I will probably kick up the price

But yea thats how it works basically...you may not get paid as much per image view you get compared to other sites...but its hard to find a site that allows adult images, has a proper stat tracking page and allows zip uploads or a lot of images to be uploaded at a time...like my albums are all +200 images, and many hosts only allow 20 at a time which is just way too little

What do you guys recommend for Cover-Upload and what for thumbnails?

I don't want to upload to 2-3 different, because most of the sites block some imagehosts.
What do you prefer.

For covers just go with a non paying host, people will thank you for it....photobucket or lulzimg are the top 2 for it, very reliable

I think ppl should stop being extreme cashwhores. Money with filehoster or ads ok, but even images? They have to view that image to see if it is intersting if they like they download >> $$$

It sucks if u want to download something but every image u see has stupid ads ppl will leave and wont come back because they cant even see what they are downloading.
