Could you code a blog?

The whole html coding thread got me thinking. There were a lot more people then I thought who know basic html, so if you had to code something like a simple blog could you do it? Not asking for widgets, a side panel or anything super hard.

Simple page to show the blog entries, pagination and a admincp with login to submit articles. Nothing to complex.

The first thread was basic html which most said yes. This one is slightly higher level of knowledge. I am interested to see where everyone is at. And you would be amazed, with google some wouldnt be able to.

I don't have much knowledge of PHP. But if I google around then I can code one as I'm a fast learner.

That's PHP not HTML. Btw, even the best coders use php.net on daily basis.

yea I know it is php, and I use php.net all the time, however a simple task as I described you wouldn't need php.net at all. There really is nothing to it.
