Does Hotfile allow searching for hosted files?

I found this in the Hotfile faq:



But apparently their privacy settings aren't working coz I have been getting loads of downloads from files I haven't even posted yet anywhere. I am even getting DMCA notices for those files. I was waiting to set up my site before posting those links.

So how are people getting access to download links for these files?

Lol no I don't think my account has been hacked. I change my pass twice a month this has been happening for a long time as I am a HF premium user for 1.5 years now.. I don't even enter my login details in any public rapidleech or RDP.

DMCA notices for those files is possible coz of md5
but you wont get downloads for sure

MD5 isn't an issue. I am an encoder and I upload my own files after encoding movies. So the files are bound to be unique, not something I leech straight off from other sites.

But yeah I am getting downloads and that's really weird. Even some old files I uploaded 6 months ago but never got around to posting them are getting downloads.
