Problem with site search

Whenever i try to search any thing on my site.I get this error "Error connecting to mysql".
Everything except it works fine in he site ,the problem is only with site search.
I am running a DLE website
Also .Recently I have upgraded the version of my sql.

Any idea how to fix it .?
I already checked dbuser name and pass they were correct..
