well, it was not made by me at all, i just installed that mod... it was working fine, and this mod has been installed on many sites without having a single problem ... anyway i uploaded the files !!! look at the search.php & searchcloud.php !

Wow it really does record everything even what people are viewing.

Try this. Open search.php and find:

$story = preg_replace( "#(\s+OR\s*)*$#i", '', $story ); 

Add just below that existing line this new line

$story = preg_replace('#\W+#', '', $story); 

That should remove all the crap.

Yea i have the mod installed and didnt have any problems like that,where you get it from?

It's not the mod causing the problems DJ Mad. I'm guessing it's another mod someplace on the site that creates weird url's. When search engines then follow these weird urls they are recorded. The mod itself he posted it ok. It's when combined with something else someplace on the site that's causing issues.

The whole recent searches thing is designed to create content in principal. There are two ways to combat this:

1) Blacklist IPs of search engine spiders (can be found on the net)
2) Only count $_POST type searches.

Unfortunately the only thing it did is just removed the spaces and the unknown characters. lets say i search for 'pro evolution 2010' i get 'proevolution2010'.
