I already wrote in your thread. Easiest and best method is word of mouth. Let's say you're a regular 16 year-old boy. Who likes to hangout with his friend when he's not Online. Some girl you're hanging out with would probably ask for some help with her PC, or some application. So the best thing you'd tell her is: "Come on my forum, I explained how to fix it in a thread." If that problem really exists, she would register on your forum. And you know that when a girl registers on a forum, that she'll bring with her bunch of her friends. Her friends will bring with them, their boyfriends.

And you pretty much have forum full of young people from your town. Just spread the word about your forum. And everything will be ok.

Social Networking sites are win when it comes to advertising a site or a forum. You just create a page, and ask your friends to invite their friends to "like" that page.

    Good luck.

No, it wouldn't be good. Spamming or advertising on other forums is very lame, unless you're a person who is friendly with everyone. If you're friendly with every single person you meet, you could probably build a great forum by just inviting your "eFriends" to register on it. But that's not easy at all, you need something with which you could control them. Even if they think you're nice, most of them wouldn't register on your site if they don't have a good reason.

So just "empty" friendly talk, or spamming other forums with your forum link isn't helping. You need something that other forums don't have.

Let's say, Andrea never cracked an application, and she never used a keygen. But, she wants to become a singer. And she downloaded cracked Sony ACID. But she has no idea how will she use the crack or keygen. If you want to help people like she is, you need to create some kind of "FAQ". Which would have solutions and answers to most common questions and problems.

One of the most common questions is about "MSN Hacking". Explaining them that no one can "hack" MSN server's. And that you as a person can only "hack" (infect) individuals with certain applications. But, that's something you wouldn't like on your forum. If you want a good legit forum with happy people. That will just show them that their illusions about hacking aren't true.

Make a subforum for video games, such as MMORPG's. Where those WoW 'freaks' can discuss about their characters, WoW servers, farming, and stuff like that. If you connect WoW freaks you'll pretty much connect all teenagers.

The content matters. And if you are talking about the site in ur sig. The slogan needs to change. And you are trying to cover a wide range of topics. Start out with a few topics.

There are wayy many forums on computing so its a wrong choice... Why not blog?
