Wordpress Categories - Change in look

Hey guys.....I want to change the look of my categories. The present one looks like this:



Suppose I want to change it to something like this one:



Is this a very difficult task or a simple one? Can anyone help me to do this if possible? I know there are many good coders and css people here so can you share your thoughts. Thanks !

go to widgets and drag the Category item in it.

@duality99 : Mate I'm not talking abt the category item. I'm talking about the design part. See in the second pic how you have

i selected "Show post counts and "Show hierarchy" and looks fine without editing the theme, maybe you need to look on theme's css.

You basically wanna change the whole design of the sidebar, means you need to do some digging in your style.css, just get the code from the site using that style and use it on yours.

I ended up removing the categories widget and used my own code in the html widget,
Just an idea
