Making your files last longer
I don't know if this has already been discussed here but changing the hash value of you files may result in a larger lifespan for some of them.
Some filehosting companies trash files with the same hash value and when you rar a file several times using RL, the resulting rar files will have the very same hash value unless you add dummy files, like a txt or jpg, of different sizes whenever you rar that file.
Another way is to manually change the hash value of each file using the md5 change feature of RL.
But be aware that you must change each file one by one. Changing the vaue of several files at the same time will only result in giving the same new value to all the files that previously shared the same value.
This may look too much work but I, for instance, only do that to single link uploads.
Since I started doing that, HF never again trashed at once all the single rar files of the same movie.
So my file for board X may have been trashed by HF but the same file for board Y is still online because the file has a different hash value.tres Reviewed by tres on . Oh thats the point! I never knew this was the reason my files were deleted instantly after upload on HF. Apparently you can use ShareLinking.com to save your files longer. And if deleted you can edit links at one place giving you more downloads ultimately.

Files will last forever if you upload files with name like:
BACKUP488593858593, or ARCHIVE4885984583, and share it on some board like WarezBB where crawlers and guests can't see topics. Of course, boards like WarezBB are active, and they have too many users, and those uploaders are spreading their links everywhere, so it's perfectly normal for links to get deleted.
But, if WarezBB had only 500-1000 users active daily, and if they wouldn't leech, chance of getting the files deleted would be smaller. Because only registred users would see the links, and links are only posted there...

What I said in my 1st post will only yield some results for your work as dedicated uploader where you are supposed to use unique links in 4-5* boards. If you spread your links all over the net then there's little to be done but pray.
I'm a heavy porn uploader and have tried weird names for my files as you say but people simply share my links. They don't bother to post their own.
If I use google to search for one of my links, I will find it in boards and blogs I didn't even know they existed.
