Showing Username on main site

Hello,

Is it possible to check if a user of my site still has the vbulletin cookie in their system and if they do display their Username and other information.

I used to have it for an older version of vbulletin but doesn't seem to work on 4.x

The code i used to use is:

chdir('/home/username/public_html/forums');
require_once('./global.php');
chdir('../../');

$userid = $vbulletin->userinfo['userid'];

You want it to show what browser they are using and all that?

No, i just want to show their username. Like, Welcome back $username.

that not at global.php but edit forumhome template..not at global php..

i don't want to show it on the forums. On a seperate page completly seperate to the forums.

basically integrating vb into my main site.

I had it working with phpbb but upgraded to VB.
