I've been telling hish to increase the limit again and again, but nothing has been done yet. FSC admins need to realize that they are ignoring a major market of their host i.e free user. FS became so popular in such a short period of time because it gave brilliant speeds to free user and gave them importance unlike 99% of other hosts

yes some hosts don't understand that it is free users who make them popular look at megaupload and fileserve they got awesome speed for free users, also filesonic should lift the limit for users do they think it still the rapidshare time when you had to split on 200mb part

Exactly, FSO admin needs to realize forcing people to buy premium never works. A free user will convert into a premium user in future only if he is satisfied with your free service and want more benefits.

If I were a free user and got a "Buy premium account to download this 1gb link" message everytime I tried to download something, I would never even bother coz that's annoying as hell.

Filesonic only cares about the $$$ not users satisfaction , when the other filehost i.e : Fileserve becomes #1 . Filesonic will go down

filesonic never ever do this. Because if they do this then they will not sell more premium I know lots of users only post 400+ MB link so that user must buy premium and user as well as filehost both getting premium sale.
