It took my website around 8-9 seconds to load completely. I was on shared-hosting so I'm sure you would get better speeds on VPS or a Dedi.

And if your going to focus on organic traffic (Google) you want your site to load as quick as possible or you won't get very good indexing and SERP.

i'm on warez-host semi- dedicated before i was on shared i tried changing host and then returned to warez-host as it has good uptime and support is good hope i helped you
