Ya desktop appz I need, as my text files are also in my local PC.

More Details:
Whenever i create any thread or post, before posting I make a text file named the post title and copy the whole bb-code content of that post and save inside that text file for further posting in other forum or for my backup.

In that way, i have created a lot of text files in my local pc, but from time to time, filehosters removed my rar files due to DMCA complain or etc.
So due to that my text files containing such links becomes useless.....

Now I want to find out which text files having dead link and which are not, so that I can remove useless files.....

Hope I have elaborate this time....
