IP.Board is a winner in my opinion.
Coding for it is ideal. The framework given for each and every release has been a pleasure to work with. Its structure is well thought out, implemented, and documented. Besides, IP.Content revolutionizes the way sites and forums are merged. No longer is a third party application needed. It creates a uniform style across your site and your board. It's quite powerful, too.
vBulletin code seems thrown together. It's more of the style phpBB is written in. It seems like it's an old school application. Instead of innovating and leading the scene, they're lagging behind.
Just my dos pesos.Coder for hire. I'm an experienced web developer with vast knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, SEO, and web servers. I also write code for Windows programs with Visual Basic and C#.NET.
All products are written quickly with efficiency, and security in mind.

There are no step by step instructions written.
For every upgrade step there is an upgrade sql to alter/update tables and fields needed for the next conversion. You have 2 choices create a test 3.05 board and then compare against 3.14 database or start an upgrade to 3.14 from the test board and say you want the manual upgrade so they show the list of changes necessary.
It is hard and tedious work but if you really want to downgrade it is the only way.

Hello. I am sorry to inform you but IPS developers are way too dumb to design such unoptimized script (IPB 3.1.4).
I am very skilled with IP.Board. Contact me if you need any help but be aware I now charge money for work.
3.0.5 ftw.

FusionWarez.info SmokeHost.net Leechers.coI disagree,
It depends who you go with. Most will allow you to use more resources since they put less people on the server. Thus, meaning you can stay on a shared server and have more people on your site/use more CPU/ram. I've seen some hosts who call it semi-dedi, price it as a semi-dedi. And do the same as shared hosts
Pick who you go with

I think that is exactly what I said.
Including your hosting there is still no real set values for cpu usage ie. 25% steady with max 30% for 10 seconds..... or ?????
Semi means half so it should really be 50% by terminology. But I have seen so many say they used less than 15% and were suspended..
