Warez is one place where you learn from mistakes. That's why when a large site is sold it usually goes downhill as the person who takes over the site doesn't have the experience to run it. The previous owner has learned from their mistakes over time. The likes of the admins at WBB, Katz etc have all made mistakes over the years and learned from them.

If you buy a forum you try your best to keep some of the existing staff who know the running of the site and members. If you want PM the site in question and I'll give you advise. If your buying or taking over the running (or part running) of a site with 100k members then you really need to know what your at. If you think your launching a site that's going to get 100k members then ask your doctor to increase your medication.

And thats it ur safe. as for website it runs in some warez legal country so its safe too

Mr Happy, thank you. It is a new project and yes, it will make that milestone. I have experience, but this is a whole other level.

It has to do with advertising and promoting. The last site that used the promotion method im thinking of, reached about 120K in little more than one month, and was a poorly looking site too. It was forced to close down a few days ago and was hosted in Russia.
Then one other site of a friend was closed 3 days ago and 5 admins where busted by the police. They had made profits of about 250.000 euros.

This is not international but national. There is a whole new experience to this. Warez experienced countries, like Serbia for example. If you make a Serbian warez site and do the right promoting, your member count will fly.

So this is the world im thinking of. Is it worth it?

Well, I bet those admins some how were selling stuff on their site, Maybe VIP? thats benefiting from warez if you think about it. Respond to all DMCA complaints and host your site in HK,

I know a site with 1+ million users hosted in germany, I know another site with 500,000 Users who is currently hosted in Netherlands. Both of this sites are private sites, (meaning you need to register before you view the threads) Public sites always have problems, See how warez-bb is a private forum?

But i also know a site that sells VIP, has files on an FTP server, has about 600K members but is hosted in the US..

So the main problem is how to get the money from the advertisers to you, without people tracing it or whatever.
