I am thinking about starting contests to give away free hosting packages for a certain amount of months, various packages and specials, and I'm also considering giving away free money via paypal for contest winners, each contest would be different, depending upon how it goes would depend on how often I do it.

Who is interested in winning free hosting, free paypal cash, free visa gift cards?

If I get enough response, I will start the contest this week, or next week, not sure what exactly the contests will be yet, so don't ask, I will post more as I think of them.. I just figure I will blow the community away with free shit!

Just make sure that you follow the basic marketplace rules though. You are required to have some sort of support forum if you are going to offer free hosting ..

I'm kinda... against, there's no way to know for sure does that guy really need money, or he's some kiddo who will try to make another fail site, same goes for the hosting. If you really want to help KWWHunction Members, don't do it like this. You'll feel like shit (at least I would if I give money or hosting to guy some guy, and when I already sent the money or made the hosting account, some guy who really deserved it, didn't get it.)

Public contests suck, I'm sure you'll be able to help someone without creating these contests, you can see every day guys requesting free hosting, or 10$ to buy some domain. And trust me, some of them need it, but they'll probably never enter in such contests. Just check out threads in "Community Cooperative", or in "Hosting Discussions". That way, you'll feel good, and there will be less spam.
