Both hosts give you ftp access ??
If so use filezilla

That doesn't matter. You can upload using filezilla, cuteftp or smart ftp to Hotfile and Filesonic.. Just don't expect the speeds to be all that great.

and for download? a software, lighter jdownloader?

IDM is the fastest download manager. I get a steady 40 mb/s on my rdp when downloading 4 files.. Around 25 when downloading one.
