So I realise from the reaction of HF mauling down accounts that most of you will switch to hosts like FileServe.

My question is, what's wrong with the good hosts?

Why don't you switch to Rapidshare, Megaupload, Mediafire, these are all perfectly good hosts which dwarf the ones like fileserve.

You only choose other hosts because they pay you, but that's the exact reason they will one day go down, just like HF may do soon.

Take MF for example, I can download a game, a movie, a whole music label, without hitting any limits. The only limit I came across lasted at most 15-30 mins then I downloaded another couple GB. Why do you not upload to this?

I'd rather go to a website which lets me download all I want without paying them than go to one that I must pay for (or wait for an absurd amount of time per file) just so you can earn <$1 from my usage of it.

I understand you want to earn from uploading because it takes time and effort. But the way to go about it isn't using horrible hosts like the ones you do use.

The way is to make users happy, use the good hosts, give them a good user experience, let them download what they came for.

Couldn't you at least upload to one of these solid, quality hosts as well as the substandard ones you use to earn your cents?

On a side note, any filehost advertising on KWWH or personally writing a post here to promote your website, be prepared for that decision to hit you in future if you ever 'make it big'. Part of the reason the MPAA wants HF down is because they supposedly paid warez-related websites to promote them.
