Truth about DMCA
I received my first DMCA a few days ago through my domain registar. I didn't know that was possible I thought if I was with an offshore host I am safe from it.
The DMCA was about a game hack program. I had an article about and an image of it on my server - not the actual program. You can call it linking I guess. I have seen something like this happen to Starcraft 2 hacking.
Now after this event, I realized you have to act on DMCA as they can contact your domain registar who can close your domain. If your domain is worth a lot, you would act on it. They also gave a threat regarding releasing my private Whois information.
I would like to know your opinions on this issue.

takeashotatlife.com allnewbeats.com xavierkedzierski.comJust delete that article, but if I was you I would talk to my domain registrar and tell them why would you delete an article that has nothing to do with illegal material. You have the right to speak about anything on the Internet, why can't you in that specific case

I was contacted by the department of the game company they emailed my domain registar with the letter. I didn't want my domain deleted or blocked until transfer.
