Starting Online Radio

Not sure if this is the correct section.

I was looking to start a online radio site as a hobby.
However does anyone know about the rights to play music? I don't want to suddenly get my ass sued for playing copyrighted music online which I haven't paid rights for

easy get offshore host then get shoutcast radio

they not going to know who you are long as you got domain privacy and make sure offshore host is ignore dmca but to use radio you would need vps as they have the open ports

also shoutcast will after be offshore i think as they would end up getting the ip to stop it working

you best getting a offshore ignore dmca vps with good spec to install shoutcast and add your website
