SKDown.Net WarezGuru.Org RARdownload.netcpanel free alternative
dont say directadmin, i said free.
kloxo is full of bugs and too much ajax makes it slow+ on my vps it crashes on all the time (512mb ram) + you can read root files from any customer account
am looking for a really lightweight n00b control panel script.
things i want:
run my warez site, each on an account with different specs space /bandwidth (mysql/php/apache)
webmail server for certain domains
DNS configuration
things not required:
payment system for customers
resellers or customer accounts
CMS one click install
i came across webmin/virtualmin, ISPconfig, SysCP,...
which is the best to run several personal sites and sites for friends on a really strict server specs.
any ideas?tdsii Reviewed by tdsii on . cpanel free alternative dont say directadmin, i said free. kloxo is full of bugs and too much ajax makes it slow+ on my vps it crashes on all the time (512mb ram) + you can read root files from any customer account :D am looking for a really lightweight n00b control panel script. things i want: run my warez site, each on an account with different specs space /bandwidth (mysql/php/apache) webmail server for certain domains DNS configuration Rating: 5

SKDown.Net WarezGuru.Org RARdownload.neti was checking demos, it seems kinda complicated and if not complicated, it doesn't seem to have all the goodies others have.
also, i still don't get it, whats webmin and virtualmin. webmin is enough? what do you people recommend and your experience with your dedicated/vps servers.

HotNewHipHop.comI tried webmin and I like it better than Kloxo to be honest, it might look confusing but once you get used to it is very easy + google is always there. and they have a lot of modules(addons)

ServeDome.comWebmin is a system administration tool that makes it easier for administrators to manage their servers while Virtualmin is webmin module used for creating and managing virtual hosting accounts
ISPConfig (http://www.ispconfig.org) is also another good free control panel and it has a more user-friendly interface.

ServeDome.comYes, you need to tweak it for reducing its memory usage. Here's a good guide for that: http://www.virtualmin.com/documentat...emory_systems/
